Senior🎓
Top SchoolLuis Gomes is a Principal Build Engineer and DevOps specialist with 11 years of experience designing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation for AAA game development at Ubisoft Reflections. He combines deep Linux and systems expertise (RHCE-certified) with hands-on tooling work—from low-level build services and in-engine build helpers to cross-studio streaming and artifact distribution systems that accelerate playtesting and iteration. Luis has a strong track record of operating and hardening production environments, implementing observability, and debugging build-breaking code while translating technical issues into actionable developer guidance. He previously led live operations and Kubernetes deployments at Bossa Studios and built resilient web and application platforms earlier in his career. Based in Newcastle, he pairs a pragmatic operations mindset with a genuine passion for great games, often opting to optimize developer workflows rather than simply adding more tooling. Colleagues would note his knack for turning complex CI/CD problems into well-documented, repeatable processes that scale across studios.
