Top SchoolLuis Hernández is a seasoned software engineer with 13 years of experience building backend systems and payments infrastructure across government, fintech, edtech, and entertainment sectors from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He has led critical projects such as implementing Mexico’s first cash-offline payment flow with real-time notifications and ISO8583 integrations, and has strong Ruby/Rails expertise used to deliver APIs and gateway integrations for high-profile customers. At Globant he combines hands-on development with team leadership—mentoring engineers, removing organizational blockers, and promoting documentation and better ways of working. Comfortable across the stack (backend, mobile with React Native, PHP/WordPress), he brings a pragmatic focus on automation and operational reliability that consistently turns complex requirements into production-ready solutions. Notably, he pairs product-facing delivery with pre-sales and integration experience, making him effective at bridging technical and business needs.
