Summary
👤
SeniorLukas Drbal is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building resilient, large-scale distributed data systems and automation pipelines from Prague. He has hands-on expertise with streaming and big-data stacks, hardened by roles at Confluent, a site reliability stint at immerok, and designing Kerberos-secured Hadoop clusters automated with Ansible on AWS for MSD. Lukas emphasizes eliminating single points of failure, automating configuration (no SSH fiddling), and designing systems that tolerate network and machine failures while scaling with data growth. His background spans software architecture, SRE and freelance consulting, giving him both product-focused and infrastructure-first perspectives. Notably, he pairs deep operational instincts with pragmatic automation to make complex distributed systems reliably manageable in production.
