Top SchoolLukas Drechsel-Burkhard (Lucdesign) is a freelance graphic designer and web developer based in Vienna with over two decades running his studio and 14 years of focused experience. He combines a background in mechanical engineering and computer science with practical design craft to deliver technically solid, fast-loading websites, complex technical illustrations, and large-format book layouts—often on tight deadlines. Clients value his punctuality, precise implementation and knack for turning intricate subject matter into clear, usable graphics for manuals, textbooks and corporate materials. He specialises in full-service projects from Contao websites and technical drawings to 400-page books and last-minute print collateral, maintaining long-term relationships with TÜV Austria, publishers and agencies. Known for persistence in debugging and pragmatic problem-finding, he prioritises uncovering what clients truly need rather than what they initially ask for. Operating remotely since 2004, he blends engineering rigor with creative solutions to make complicated projects manageable and dependable.
