Top SchoolLynn Chyi is a seasoned engineering leader and Experience Architect with a decade of experience scaling web platforms, design systems, and cross-platform UI teams from startup to enterprise. She has led foundational web platform and design system efforts at Robinhood and Workday—building Canvas Kit into an open-source React component library and founding the Web Platform team that supported 50+ engineers and critical web products. Lynn blends hands-on front-end craftsmanship (addressing accessibility, cross-browser and IE11 quirks in component libraries) with high-level team and product strategy, enabling faster, consistent UI delivery across mobile and web. At Illumina she served as a founding frontend architect for a fleet dashboard, balancing architecture, hiring, and large distributed teams. Based in California, she pairs a Management Science degree and CS minor from UC San Diego with a pragmatic focus on developer experience, bundle optimization, and shipping server-driven UI at scale. Her background as both designer and engineer gives her a rare fluency in turning design systems into production-day developer tools.
