Summary
👤
SeniorM Christoforo is a co-founder and director with 11 years of experience blending academic research and industry engineering in advanced optoelectronics and energy systems. He holds a PhD from Stanford and has led postdoctoral work at Oxford focusing on silver nanowire transparent conductors and their integration in perovskite and silicon solar cells, while founding Ark Metrica to translate those materials innovations toward lower-cost, higher-performance electrodes. Earlier roles at GE and Planet Labs reflect deep hands-on expertise in embedded firmware, wireless mesh sensing, and satellite electronics, demonstrating a rare combination of device-scale materials science and systems-level product engineering. He has also applied computational biology skills to sequencing data, showing interdisciplinary agility beyond photovoltaics. Based in Palo Alto with ties to the UK and Denmark, he brings entrepreneurial drive, lab-to-market experience, and a practical focus on manufacturable processes for next-generation solar technologies.
