Top SchoolM Najafi is a Python Software Engineer based in Amsterdam with 9 years of engineering experience and 6+ years as a self-taught developer delivering scalable, secure systems. He has driven high-impact projects across payments, advertising, and cloud platforms, including architecting microservices that handled millions of daily messages and designing a rapid, no-downtime payment provider integration process. At Yektanet he led systems that processed 2 million SMS/day and 50 million daily push deliveries, improved security posture via OWASP SAMM, and built a behaviour-driven test framework with 95%+ coverage. He rebuilt critical customer-service authentication flows at Bitpin and reduced integration time for new payment gateways to one week. Comfortable across Python, Golang, Kafka, gRPC, ClickHouse and Redis, he blends hands-on coding with architectural leadership and mentoring. Colleagues describe him simply as “just a human being” who nonetheless engineers reliable, production-grade infrastructure under pressure.
