Senior🎓
Top SchoolMaarten Bosteels is a seasoned R&D and engineering leader with 11+ years in software and over two decades in systems and automation, currently heading R&D at DNS Belgium. He blends hands-on development, DevOps evangelism and research with deep DNS operational expertise, having progressed from software engineer to Engineering Director and now R&D lead within the same organization. An Apache MINA committer and PMC member, he brings real open-source credentials in high-performance network frameworks alongside practical experience building resilient services in Java, SQL and tooling ecosystems. Trained in mathematics with a post-master in ICT from KU Leuven, he is equally comfortable designing distributed systems and tinkering with low-level networking — a pragmatic technologist who bridges research, operations and production-grade engineering.
