Summary
👤
SeniorMaarten Everts is a cybersecurity and cryptography-focused technology leader with 17 years of experience, currently serving as CTO and co-founder of Linksight, a TNO spin-off that uses secure multi-party computation and blockchain to enable privacy-preserving data insights. He combines hands-on security engineering with applied cryptography expertise—spanning MPC, smart contracts, PETs, identity management, smartcards, RFID/NFC—and brings an academic lens as a part-time assistant professor at the University of Twente. Maarten’s work sits at the intersection of research and productization, turning complex privacy-preserving primitives into practical, auditable solutions for real-world data collaboration. Based in Zwolle, he is as comfortable designing protocols as he is guiding startup technical strategy, and often bridges gaps between academic innovation and commercial deployment.
