Top SchoolMaarten Waegeman is a pragmatic developer with a decade of experience delivering web and backend solutions across public sector projects, enterprise clients and startup teams in Belgium and Denmark. He has led frontend overhauls and feature deliveries—most notably architecting a live-feed and social wall—and has steadily shifted into backend work, contributing improvements to open-source PHP libraries such as picqer/exact-php-client (rate-limit handling and persistence fixes). Comfortable in large teams and tightknit startups alike, he thrives on untangling complex problems and shipping working solutions. His background includes Peoplesoft consulting for government clients and hands-on systems work from internships through senior roles, giving him both product and operational perspective.
