Senior🎓
Top SchoolMac Angell is a seasoned engineering leader and full-stack architect with 13–14 years of experience building scalable, secure education technology platforms and leading engineering organizations. As VP of Engineering at Credit Pulse and former co-founder/VP of Engineering at BASE Education, he has hands-on experience designing cloud-native AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automated UI testing, and SOC2 readiness. He excels at aligning product and technical strategy, shepherding acquisitions and technology transitions, and hiring and mentoring high-performing teams. Early career roles at Pearson, Aetna, and iTriage sharpened his expertise in single-page apps, analytics backends, and serverless architectures. Based in Littleton, Colorado, he combines startup grit with enterprise rigor and a persistent curiosity for new tools and processes. One less obvious strength: he pairs executive strategy with day-to-day engineering craftsmanship, often implementing the very pipelines and automation his teams rely on.
