Senior🎓
Top SchoolMac Baler is an engineering leader with eight years of software experience who currently leads teams at HubSpot, bringing hands-on full‑stack expertise from React and Vue front-ends to Node.js backends and CI/Docker workflows. He built an English‑learning platform in Japan—shipping live A/V chat, synchronized materials, recording and monitoring features—and ran a migration from a large Perl backend to Node.js, introduced unit testing, and helped establish code review practices. Fluent in Japanese and seasoned by living and working abroad, he pairs strong cross-cultural communication and teaching experience with technical leadership. Fast to learn and intensely quality-focused, he prefers solving problems by finding more efficient, durable solutions rather than quick fixes.
