Top SchoolMaciej Nowak is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience, blending hands-on backend expertise in Ruby and Elixir with pragmatic full‑stack delivery using React and TypeScript. He has built and operated production architectures from scratch—most notably designing Microverse’s scalable, data-aware platform using Rails, PostgreSQL, Heroku, DBT and GCP—while resisting over‑engineering in favor of small, robust solutions. Comfortable leading teams, he transitioned into engineering management and scaled an engineering organization to 10 people, mentoring juniors and driving hiring and performance processes. His background includes building API-driven integrations and microservices at Lonely Planet and Pilot, and he is an avid Elixir enthusiast who prefers languages that fit concurrent workloads. Based in Wrocław, he combines a developer’s craft with the discipline of an architect who measures decisions by long-term maintainability and data utility.
