Top SchoolMaddison Joyce is an Engineering Manager with 13 years of experience building full-stack and serverless systems, currently leading development and architecture at Smokeball Australia. She combines hands-on engineering—Node.js backends, TypeScript/React/React Native frontends—and Terraform-driven AWS infrastructure with product-minded leadership in small, tight-knit teams. Comfortable moving between code, UX research, and board-level reporting, she excels at translating customer "why" into pragmatic technical solutions. Avidly curious about new languages and frameworks, she has a knack for rapid prototyping (including weekend-built tools) and enjoys riffing on product ideas over dinner. Educated in Computer Science (UNSW) with a Global MBA, she bridges technical depth and business strategy to ship impactful software.
