Senior🎓
Top SchoolMahdi Mohaveri is a Senior Software Engineer and tech leader based in Berlin with over a decade of experience designing and operating scalable monolith and microservice systems in Python and Go. He has led engineering teams and startups (including co-founding TryGummy), built production-grade infrastructure across bare metal, Docker and Kubernetes, and managed deployments with Ansible and Terraform both on-prem and in AWS. His background spans backend systems, databases, event-driven architectures and ML engineering—he’s built deep learning models for NLP and computer vision and created ML pipelines that accelerated data science workflows tenfold. At multiple employers he drove major efficiency gains (e.g., 30x response-time improvements and large hardware cost reductions) and bootstrapped a production Kubernetes cluster used by eight teams. Beyond hands-on coding and leadership, he combines academic training in AI with practical systems know-how, enabling him to bridge research and production reliably. Known for mentoring and hiring at scale, he brings startup grit and production discipline to complex infra and ML challenges.
