Senior🎓
Top SchoolMahesh Gondi is a Berlin-based Data Consultant with 14 years of engineering experience spanning software, data engineering, and data science, currently freelancing on end-to-end ML and data platform projects. He has shipped production ML systems and microservices (recommendation, fraud detection, caching and pricing) at Omio and built scalable data platforms that cut processing times dramatically and reduced BigQuery costs by €10k/month. Comfortable across Python, Docker, GCP, AWS, Spark/Scala and OLAP ecosystems, he blends hands-on model development (XGBoost, Scikit, BERT PoCs) with infrastructure work like Kubernetes, Airflow and Snowflake to enable self-service analytics. Mahesh’s background includes senior roles at Allianz and upday and early engineering at Yahoo!, showing a rare mix of product-minded ML work and deep systems/ETL expertise. Not obvious from titles: he regularly architected developer tooling and reproducible Jupyter environments to democratize analysis across teams.
