Top SchoolMahmoud Saleh is a Senior Data Engineer in New York with 13 years of hands-on experience building scalable data platforms, cloud architectures, and production ETL systems. At Collective Health he designed a low-code data pipeline framework that automated 100+ manual processes and accelerated workflows from days to under an hour while enabling Databricks migrations for 100+ users. His background spans full-stack and DevOps work—Django, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, Kafka—and includes designing migration paths for large user bases and PCI-compliant payment systems. Beyond industry work, Mahmoud has led multidisciplinary biomedical research on Parkinson’s Disease, EMG prosthetics, VR and RF localization at NYIT, mentoring student researchers and bridging research with production-ready engineering. This mix of clinical research experience and production data engineering gives him a rare ability to translate complex scientific requirements into robust, automated data solutions.
