Senior🎓
Top SchoolMahmoud Shaltoot is a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of hands-on experience building scalable back-end systems, specializing in Node.js, microservices, and event-driven architectures. He has practical production experience across GCP (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Scheduler), and a strong track record delivering RESTful APIs and serverless solutions for clients including TDRA and SaaS platforms. Mahmoud emphasizes reliability through automated testing (Jest, Mocha, Chai) and robust monitoring with Sentry and Google Cloud Monitoring, and has driven measurable performance improvements like a 60% endpoint speedup via caching. He has led small teams to design, implement, and deploy microservices, and contributed integrations with payment and external services (Stripe, Tabby, DocuSign, monday.com). Beyond shipping features, he builds developer ergonomics—publishing an npm package and automating CI/CD pipelines—to streamline production delivery. Based in Egypt, he sharpens problem-solving via regular LeetCode practice and prefers clean, modular architectures grounded in OOP and common design patterns.
