Top SchoolMajid Garoosi is a research-focused software engineer with a decade of experience building and testing robust backend systems, currently a Research Assistant at CISPA and pursuing a master's in Cybersecurity at Universität des Saarlandes. He has production experience operating PostgreSQL and Redis as-a-service platforms and has worked as a backend developer at Cafe Bazaar, combining systems engineering with practical operational know-how. Majid also brings deep algorithmic insight from six years mentoring top Iranian high-school students for the IOI, with several mentees reaching international podiums. His work balances constructive engineering—"building things"—with an adversarial mindset for finding subtle failures, reflecting both practitioner and researcher instincts. Based in Saarbrücken, he moves fluidly between research labs and production environments, making him especially suited to projects that require secure, scalable data infrastructure and rigorous vulnerability analysis.
