A Virginia Tech computer engineer, he has applied hardware and software research skills—from FPGA/Verilog prototyping to big-data system integration—to energy market problems across ERCOT and PJM. At Balyasny and in student-run trading groups he has developed dispatch and forecasting models for large portfolios and automated analysis pipelines.
