He has progressed through multiple engineering roles at AppFolio, focusing on React Native, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS/Terraform to deliver production mobile and backend systems. Comfortable across front-end and backend stacks, he also brings Java/Spring and Oracle experience from earlier full‑stack work, making him adept at integrating legacy and modern services. A Northeastern graduate in Computer Science & Design, Malcolm combines engineering rigor with product-aware design sensibilities and maintains a public GitHub portfolio showcasing his hands-on work.
