Senior🎓
Top SchoolMalte Gruber is an engineering manager and embedded systems specialist with 11 years of experience building hardware-software solutions for both commercial robotics and space applications. Currently leading teams at Ocado Technology, he blends hands-on expertise in embedded Linux, C/C++, PCB and FPGA design with a practical focus on CI, testing and production-ready systems. His background includes developing radiation-hardened propulsion and satellite flight software at GomSpace and hands-on satellite integration and ground-station work at KTH, giving him rare end-to-end insight from circuit topology to flight-qualified firmware. Comfortable across analog electronics, VHDL and higher-level tools like Python and TensorFlow, he thrives on solving interdisciplinary problems that cross the hardware/software boundary. Based in Stockholm, he pairs managerial leadership with deep technical mentorship, often translating complex test campaigns and radiation-mitigation requirements into automated tooling and reliable delivery.
