Top SchoolManjula Jayawardana is an Associate Software Architect with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and delivering Java-based enterprise systems, now leading architecture efforts at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka. He blends deep expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, microservices and Netflix OSS with practical knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), containerization, and test-driven development. Having progressed from developer to technical lead roles across multiple companies, he pairs architectural vision with day-to-day delivery and team leadership. He is also comfortable across the full stack—modern JavaScript frameworks, server-side templating and Node.js—making him effective at bridging backend architecture and frontend needs. A pragmatic problem-solver, he often applies design patterns and lightweight orchestration to simplify complex distributed systems.
