Top SchoolMarat S is a Staff Platform Engineer based in Berlin with 13 years of hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native infrastructure, Linux systems, and networked services. He has progressed from system administration to senior DevOps and platform engineering roles at companies like JUNIQE and Affinidi, where he now focuses on platform reliability and developer enablement. Marat blends deep operational expertise—clusters, HA, backups, security audits—with pragmatic automation skills and a taste for introducing new technologies and uniform safety principles across projects. He’s comfortable across AWS, virtualization, databases, and monitoring stacks, and brings a strong incident-response background that reduces downtime and speeds recovery. Known for working "with fun and for fun," he pairs technical rigor with curiosity and continuous professional growth. An engineer who favors practical, auditable solutions, he often surfaces cross-team improvements that aren’t obvious until systems fail.
