Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarc Alvarez is a software architect and engineering leader with nearly two decades of experience designing scalable SaaS platforms and modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native architectures. Based in Boulder, he blends hands-on engineering—building Go-based identity, logging, and AI-enablement infrastructure—with strategic leadership that aligns architecture to compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, FERPA) and product goals. He has a track record of mentoring engineers from junior to staff-plus, formalizing onboarding and promotion paths, and running recurring architecture reviews to raise org-wide technical depth. Comfortable across Python, Go, and full-stack environments, Marc has driven revenue-impacting features, vendor integrations, and performance optimizations at multiple companies. His MFA in Creative Writing underpins a rare combination of technical rigor and clear communication that helps bridge engineering, product, and executive teams.
