Top SchoolMarc Augier is a seasoned information systems professor, consultant and founder with over a decade of leadership in digital transformation, educational technology and knowledge management. As Président of xDM Consulting and a long-time academic at institutions like SKEMA and IPAG, he blends hands-on digital pedagogy with strategic advice for MOOCs, makerspaces and organizational learning. His research and practice focus on the societal implications of IT—especially ethics, free culture and the use of hypertext and digital documents as knowledge representation tools. A compulsive coder who publishes course examples and personal projects on GitHub, he pairs engineering roots from CEA and IBM with a doctorate in information and communication sciences. Based in Valbonne, France, he is comfortable moving between board-level strategy and classroom-to-code execution, uniquely bridging free-software advocacy with enterprise digitalization.
