Top SchoolMarc Llort is a Senior Platform Engineer based in London with eight years of hands-on experience building and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure and AI-infused production systems. He has driven substantial cost and reliability improvements—most notably a 40% AWS spend reduction—while implementing IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD across multi-cloud environments. As a freelance AI engineer he turns research prototypes into products, shipping systems like a multi-cloud cost-explorer with an LLM front end, a photo-to-3D commerce pipeline, and automated website builders for SMEs. His background spans fintech and travel tech platforms where he led Terraform/Pulumi deployments, observability with Datadog/OpenSearch, and on-call responsibilities for mission-critical services. He pairs entrepreneurial experience running an e-commerce business with deep operational practices, making him comfortable across infrastructure, automation, and ML deployment. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic, cost-conscious solutions that bridge research ideas and reliable production delivery.
