Top SchoolMarc Mascarell is an engineering leader and former full-stack developer with 13 years of experience guiding product-focused, people-first engineering organizations from Barcelona. As CTO/Engineering Manager he blends hands-on technical judgment—from high-concurrency web systems and TV box integrations to API design and large refactors—with a clear emphasis on team growth, psychological safety and measurable delivery. His startup background has honed a build-measure-learn mindset: shipping MVPs, validating ideas, and iterating quickly while keeping costs and scalability in view. He mentors managers, shapes tech roadmaps and architecture, and still dives into code when it unlocks progress, especially around migrations, testing and deployment. Notably, he led the adoption of Vue across products to boost developer velocity and UX, and has driven initiatives that professionalized engineering processes and teamship. Remote-first collaboration and team happiness are constants in his approach to sustainable, high-impact engineering.
