Top SchoolMarc Perez is a DevOps engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native systems for startups and enterprise clients across Europe. He’s currently automating security operations for Pictet in a network security team while previously running Kubernetes clusters of 1,000+ nodes and optimizing cost and resource usage as a freelancer. Marc has shipped large-scale AWS backends and automated the release of 150+ mobile apps, including a Top 1 Apple Store sports app, and co-founded a health-tech startup that pivoted during COVID-19. Comfortable across the stack, he writes native mobile apps, React Native frontends, and Node.js backends, and has performed penetration testing and led teams as a Scrum Master. Based in Paris with academic ties to EPITECH and Beijing Jiaotong University, he blends engineering rigor with startup agility and a knack for turning disruptive product ideas into production-ready systems. Not obvious at first glance: he pairs deep operational expertise with practical marketing and growth experience, having managed digital ad campaigns alongside infrastructure.
