Top SchoolMarc Whitbread is a senior software developer with 14 years of experience building scalable, production-grade full-stack systems across startups and established teams. Currently on a platform team at an event management SaaS, he designs and ships end-to-end product implementations—most recently a high-performance, embeddable chat used for live events. His technical breadth spans modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript), cloud platforms and serverless ops (GCP, AWS, Vercel), databases and caching (MongoDB Atlas, Redis), and CI/CD pipelines. As a founding full-stack engineer at Rupt he helped support millions of concurrent connections with zero-tolerance for downtime, and earlier roles show a continuous mix of hands-on engineering, architecture, and team leadership. Based in Toronto, he combines deep frontend UI experience with systems administration skills, making him equally comfortable optimizing user-facing performance and backend reliability. Beyond shipping features, he has a knack for turning fledgling ideas into resilient, scalable products under tight operational constraints.
