Top SchoolMarcel Burgunder is a San Francisco–based software engineer with eight years of full-stack and infrastructure experience across startups and enterprise healthcare. He has driven growth and scalability initiatives—leading a migration to microservices and building self-serve onboarding, referral, and brand-management systems that materially increased creator and brand adoption. Marcel has worked on autonomous vehicle and mining-site infrastructure, building real-time messaging, CAN interfaces, and cloud-backed monitoring, and has shipped financial and insurance-facing applications at Epic. Comfortable across React, TypeScript, Node, Python, Postgres, Terraform and GCP/AWS, he blends product-focused engineering with analytics-driven iteration. His background in music and band management hints at creative leadership and event-scale coordination skills that surface in cross-functional project delivery. Currently building core product at Casa, he pairs pragmatic execution with a jack-of-all-trades curiosity that accelerates early-stage product velocity.
