Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcel Kaiser is a Financial Services Consultant and DeFi economist with nine years of experience translating Web3 research and economic theory into market-ready products and regulatory-aligned strategies. As co-founder and former CEO of Defiria and current strategic lead at FinPlanet, he has turned digital-asset risk management and Layer-2 infrastructure concepts into pragmatic growth drivers for institutions. He mentors over 600 builders through DeFi Talents, shapes policy as an expert for Bundesblock, and has moderated major industry stages—bridging academic rigor from his M.Sc. in Economics with hands-on startup execution. Marcel combines fundraising and partnership prowess with practical compliance know-how (MiCaR) and a knack for making complex DeFi primitives legible to corporates and regulators. Notably, he pairs a nano-science undergraduate background with deep macro and token-economics insight, giving him a rare interdisciplinary edge in assessing tech-driven financial innovation.
