Top SchoolMarcel Zúbrik is a founder and full-stack JavaScript developer with eight years of professional experience building fast, scalable e-commerce and front-end solutions. He leads the open-source StretchShop project, designed for seamless scaling from monolith to containers and a documented REST API, and has driven front-end modernization and micro-frontend adoption in enterprise projects. Marcel’s background blends early DTP and design experience with deep engineering—he started coding in primary school and later created first-generation company websites and centralized e-commerce administration systems. He has helmed his own agencies and contributed as a contractor to international e-commerce platforms, bringing both product-mindedness and hands-on implementation skills. Based in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, he balances technical work with life as a climber and father, an outlook that informs pragmatic, well-documented engineering. Notably, his career shows a steady progression from creative print work to building performant open-source commerce tooling used in production.
