Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcelo Amaral is a senior software engineer with a decade of experience building and modernizing backend systems, APIs, and large-scale integrations across finance, telecoms, and enterprise SaaS. He specializes in Java and Spring Boot, distributed systems using Kafka, and cloud-native deployments with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure DevOps, and has driven platform modernization for global teams at AB InBev. At Zenvia and CI&T he led API design, data migrations, and the shift from synchronous REST to event-driven architectures, often acting as the technical integrator between product, QA and operations. Comfortable with both legacy upgrades and greenfield architecture, he pairs API and infrastructure implementation with strong documentation practices (UML, C4) and automated testing. Based in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, he brings a pragmatic, bitwise approach to solving integration and scalability challenges while championing telemetry and CI/CD improvements.
