Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcelo Bittencourt is a backend-focused software engineer with nine years of experience building scalable, high-performance systems and five years specializing in microservices and AI-infused architectures. He has led teams and projects across healthcare, education, and energy domains, designing production-grade APIs, asynchronous workflows, and embedding/RAG pipelines that supported thousands of active users. Comfortable across Python, Go, Java and JavaScript, Marcelo pairs cloud-first expertise (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, CI/CD) with hands-on ML experience (RNN/LNN, embeddings) to move models into reliable services. He’s delivered measurable impact—70% performance gains through microservices and major cost/query optimizations—while modernizing legacy stacks and improving team velocity. Fluent in Portuguese and English and based in São Paulo, he blends telecom engineering roots with practical product thinking, often bridging frontend needs (React/Angular/Next) to backend constraints. An understated strength is his track record of turning research-grade ML and signal-processing work into production tooling that reduced operational noise and sped onboarding.
