Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcelo Perretta is a seasoned software engineer and founder from Rosario, Argentina, with over 15 years in web and mobile development and 11 years of focused professional experience. He specializes in Apple platform apps, shipping iOS and macOS products in Swift and Objective-C while also building full-stack services with Swift Vapor and Postgres. As founder of Newsreadeck he combines server, CMS and API work with native iOS clients, and previously led macOS development and cross-functional iOS teams at Ring, Uber, and Netspend. He has a track record of architecting scalable, maintainable systems that enabled rapid feature rollouts and cost reductions in production. Comfortable from low-level flash-era engines to modern cloud deployments on AWS, Marcelo blends pragmatic engineering with indie-product instincts. His background in both team leadership and solo indie development gives him a rare ability to move projects from prototype to production independently.
