Summary
👤
SeniorMarcilio Junior is a Senior Mobile Engineer with over a decade of experience building iOS apps and more than seven years working remotely with distributed teams across Europe and the U.S. He has led large migrations and architectural refactors—moving legacy code to Swift/SwiftUI, adopting Tuist to slash local and CI build times, and transitioning RxSwift to Swift Structured Concurrency. At Teamwork he drove measurable developer-experience gains, introduced Maestro for UI testing, and built internal frameworks for OAuth and file uploads while enabling iPad and M1 Mac support. Beyond hands-on engineering he teaches and mentors—building curricula at PUC Minas and guiding bootcamp students—which reflects a strong emphasis on developer productivity and knowledge sharing. He blends practical system-level thinking with a passion for tooling and automation, often surfacing improvements that reduce costs and speed delivery. Based in Minas Gerais, Brazil, he pairs deep iOS expertise with a track record of improving team practices and shipping reliable, maintainable products.
