Top SchoolMarcin Łapaj is a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of embedded systems experience, specializing in LTE L1 and 4G/5G base station technologies for major telecom vendors. At Tieto he’s contributed across the stack—from bootloaders and ARM assembly to Linux networking drivers and protocol work on RP3/CPRI—combining low-level bring-up skills with verification and driver development. He has a strong C/C++ background, hands-on experience with hardware interfaces (SPI/I2C/PCIe) and tooling like DS-5/Lauterbach, and an academic foundation with a Master’s in Computer Science. Outside work he explores retro- and radio-related projects—ZX Spectrum emulation, AVR-based AY3 music hardware, and a software-defined radio receiver—demonstrating a continued appetite for systems-level challenges and writing custom FFT/IFTT code. Known for pragmatic problem solving and thorough testing practices, he balances production-grade telecom engineering with creative hobbyist builds.
