Top SchoolMarcin Szeląg is a Senior Java Developer and academic with over 18 years of programming experience and a PhD in Computer Science from Poznan University of Technology. He blends industrial software engineering—recently at Luxoft and in EU cybersecurity projects—with long-standing academic research and teaching in AI, machine learning, and decision support systems. Comfortable across the stack, he has delivered Spring Boot REST services, Java libraries like ruleLearn, and front-end interfaces, while also maintaining a financial web application for a nonprofit. A proponent of agile practices, he pairs disciplined engineering and clean code craftsmanship with a researcher’s rigor for reproducible solutions. Colleagues can expect a developer who moves seamlessly between individual contributor work and collaborative SCRUM teams, bringing both production-grade delivery and a deep algorithmic perspective.
