Senior🎓
Top SchoolMárcio Donadio is a Senior Control Systems Engineer with over 10 years of experience automating beamlines and accelerators at SLAC and Brazil’s synchrotron, combining deep EPICS expertise with C, C++, Python, LabVIEW (including cRIO FPGA) and legacy-to-modern migrations. He has led complex hardware-software integrations—mass and temperature controllers, motion systems, CCDs and laser controls—and migrated critical accelerator diagnostics from VME to ATCA + Linux RT. A collaborator in the international EPICS community, he researches and pilots new hardware, writes technical reports, and presents findings that influence solutions used across labs. Comfortable bridging experimental science and production-grade control software, he also built protection systems from scratch and taught software quality, showing both hands-on engineering and systems-thinking. Based in Menlo Park, he brings a practical combination of field automation know-how and institutional collaboration that speeds experiments and improves long-term maintainability.
