Top SchoolMarco Calderone is a London-based DevOps Engineer with 13 years of cross-platform systems and infrastructure experience, currently delivering production automation at Inviqa. He brings deep expertise in configuration management and provisioning tools (Ansible, Chef, Vagrant, Capistrano), strong Bash and Ruby scripting skills, and a background spanning macOS, Linux, Windows, VMware/Parallels virtualization and directory services integration. Marco’s early career as a founder and technical consultant honed his abilities in database administration (MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and hands-on hardware troubleshooting, making him comfortable from low-level diagnostics to infrastructure-as-code. Fluent in English and Spanish with intermediate French, he combines practical ops know-how with developer-facing tooling for reliable deployments. Notably, his profile blends classic sysadmin strengths—NIS, SAMBA, OpenLDAP/AD integration—with modern DevOps practices, reflecting adaptability across decades of platform change. Outside work he’s a tinkerer and biker, traits that mirror a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem solving.
