Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarco Freire is a seasoned Java-centric technology leader and entrepreneur with nearly a decade of hands-on experience building and running complex software systems for both public and private sectors in Ecuador. As Founder & CEO of Matoosfe and current Director de Tecnología at Atiscode, he blends software architecture, development, infrastructure and security oversight with practical delivery—leading projects from core business systems to RPA and media tools. A prolific educator and content creator (Udemy, Platzi, university lecturing and long-running Java instructor roles), he brings rare depth in Java/JEE, Spring, Android and open-source stacks while certifying and mentoring engineering teams. His career includes national-level technology leadership (SENPLADES, IESS) and municipal/sector-specific system architecture work, showing an ability to translate policy needs into production software. Outside engineering he’s a self-taught communicator and teacher who channels creativity into YouTube and community training, and even plays guitar—an indicator of the persistent curiosity that drives his technical and leadership practice.
