Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarco Orfei is a Cloud Solution Architect based in Rome with a decade of hands-on experience spanning software development, system administration, and cloud infrastructure. He combines deep Linux and networking expertise—built on years administering Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS and pfSense-based networks—with Java, Python and Ruby development experience across payment systems, mobile apps and enterprise Redmine plugins. Currently shaping cloud solutions at BNL BNP Paribas while continuing development and operations work at IAD, he bridges legacy JVM services and modern IaaS/OpenStack patterns to deliver reliable, scalable platforms. Notable for moving between low-level infrastructure (shell scripting, IaaS deployments) and higher-level application work, he brings a pragmatic full-stack mindset to cloud architecture and platform automation.
