Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarco Podien is a Senior Developer Advocate based in Berlin with over a decade of experience building developer relations, DX tooling, and high-throughput backend systems across startups and product companies. He has repeatedly founded and scaled DevRel teams at companies like Affinidi and Spryker, created certification and training programs, and served as the internal Voice-of-the-Developer to shape product and docs. Technically grounded from early CTO and engineering roles, he designed distributed crawlers, queue-based sync systems, and performant data import pipelines, giving him uncommon empathy for both platform builders and developer audiences. Recently focused on democratizing Web3 and GenAI for Python and TypeScript communities, he combines hands-on engineering, content creation, and event leadership to drive adoption. Outside formal roles he co-organizes Berlin DevRel meetups and runs community projects like AIficionados, showing a knack for turning niche passions into active networks. He’s seeking to build DevRel from the ground up at a forward-thinking organization where technical depth and community strategy meet.
