Marco Pozzato is a seasoned technology leader and hands-on CTO with 14 years of experience shepherding startups from inception to market, and over 20 years building systems and products across cybersecurity, networking and software engineering. Based in Dubai, he blends strategic vision with deep technical craft—regularly coding in Python and writing Terraform—even while leading innovation and engineering teams to deliver modular cyber security platforms. He has progressed from software engineer to VP roles and multiple CTO positions, launching flagship products for sectors including space & defence, government, oil & gas and banking. An adjunct lecturer in MSc Cybersecurity and Pen Testing, he now balances advisory and academic roles while driving product strategy at his current company. Known for starting projects with proof-of-concept iterations that evolve into robust architectures, he thrives on solving hard problems where security, scalability and operational constraints intersect.
