Summary
👤
SeniorMarco Rodriguez-salinas is a software developer with 8 years of experience building practical tools and developer-focused content around decentralized systems and automation. He holds a BS in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and has blended hands-on engineering (Python, Go, REST APIs, containers) with developer relations and technical writing at organizations like Protocol Labs and Fission. Marco has shipped production automation that reclaimed over $1M and saved 1,000+ man-hours, and he led R&D that raised $20K in grants for a new IPNS pinning service through his Fierro Labs project. Comfortable across support, development, and community education, he’s guided cohorts through IPFS/IPLD/libp2p/Filecoin while producing tutorials and videos to onboard new users. He focuses on lowering switching costs to accelerate mainstream adoption of decentralized storage, often by building layers that run on top of existing infra. Based in Stafford, Texas, he pairs strong coding ethics and team collaboration with a knack for turning research and outreach into tangible engineering outcomes.
