Top SchoolMarco Stefani is a Software Architect and PhD in Computer Science with over 20 years of hands-on experience building high-availability, cloud-native systems across AWS and Azure for major enterprises. He has driven large digital transformations—leading teams of dozens, architecting microservices, event-driven platforms, and big-data pipelines that cut costs and scaled to handle high transaction volumes. Comfortable from low-level embedded and payments work (EMV/ISO-8583) to Databricks-powered analytics, he blends deep systems engineering with pragmatic delivery and DevOps automation (Terraform, ArgoCD, GitOps). Known for rescuing high-stakes projects and expanding teams rapidly, he also applies academic rigor to production problems, evidenced by a PhD and ongoing research-driven approach to performance and reliability. Based in Dublin, he brings a rare mix of legacy systems expertise and modern cloud-first architecture, often combining process automation (Camunda) with service mesh and observability to squeeze operational efficiencies.
