Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMarcos Da Silva Júnior is a pragmatic Full Cycle Software Engineer with nine years of experience, currently specializing in Golang and cloud-native architectures across GCP and AWS. He has a track record of migrating legacy Java services to Go, achieving dramatic resource and cost savings (e.g., cutting instances from 4 to 1 and RAM from ~2GB to 200MB) while improving reliability and eliminating incidents. Comfortable across the stack, he designs databases, builds CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Cloud Build, containerizes apps with multi-stage builds, and manages production deployments on Docker Compose and Kubernetes. Marcos combines hands-on coding (Go, Java, TypeScript, Python) with system-level debugging, monitoring and SLA-driven incident response, and has led small teams as a DevOps/tech lead. He also implemented secure enterprise features like SSO with Azure AD via Keycloak and RBAC, showing attention to both scalability and security in real-world systems. Based in Minas Gerais, Brazil, he’s completing an MBA in Golang expertise and is approachable for technical collaborations and migration projects.
