DevOps Engineer at koltin-dev
São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
Summary
🤩
RockstarMarcos Ferreira is a product-minded Head of Engineering with a decade of experience building and scaling software teams and platforms from São Paulo. He blends hands-on engineering—comfortable in Elixir, Ruby, Python, Kotlin and devops tooling—with people-first leadership, regularly oscillating between shipping code and mentoring a ~10-person team. His background spans high-scale systems at Nubank, rapid-impact work at Brex, and startup product velocity with super.mx, giving him a rare mix of distributed-systems rigor and growth-stage agility. At Koltin he’s driven data governance, platform reliability and career frameworks while still pairing on bash scripts late at night. He’s curious by trade (neoVim tweaks included) and pragmatic in practice, favoring clear career paths, measurable quality improvements, and engineering processes that serve product outcomes.
