Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcos Lobo is a seasoned software engineer and team lead with 11 years of experience building scalable web and cloud services from Madrid. He combines a Master in Web Engineering with nearly three years deploying OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure at CERN, where he owned Dashboard and Mistral services and collaborated closely with vendors like Red Hat and Mirantis. At Nexthink he progressed from engineer to tech lead to team lead, blending hands-on development, product ownership and delivery leadership. An active open-source contributor and Fedora/RDO packager, he has deep familiarity with OpenStack components (Horizon, Keystone, Mistral, Magnum, Murano) and packaging for enterprise Linux distributions. Marcos is comfortable across front-end frameworks (AngularJS/Angular Material), REST APIs, Puppet automation and CI practices, and often bridges upstream open-source work with production deployments. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic engineer who turns complex cloud requirements into well-documented, maintainable services.
